Derek Mahan Tutoring provides customized tutoring services that focus on academic skill-building for subjects including English grammar and writing, reading comprehension, and mathematics.
Derek works to build academic skills while also honing students’ test-taking abilities, study skills, and time and stress management, ultimately, helping students transfer content knowledge to standardized tests including the ACT, SAT, PSAT, and ISEE.
Tutoring sessions are one-on-one and individualized to each student’s needs and are held at Derek’s office and online via Zoom.
